Wikipedia describes downtime in it's first heading, as a "period of time a system fails to provide or perform its primary function". Dictionary.com declares the term as a time "when an employee is not actively productive". It's ironic then, that our Nordhavn 50 was christened with that moniker. She has blessed my husband and I with numerous hours of contentment and relaxation, and save for a minor problem with stabilizers while hundreds of miles off the east coast of the United States in the Atlantic, Downtime has demonstrated superior capability for four years in our care. Or is it the opposite? Ah...Downtime refers to her occupants state of being!
